From March 15th to 17th, 2023, the "China Petroleum and Petrochemical Information and Communication Technology Exchange Conference" hosted by the Petroleum Communication Committee of the Chinese Petroleum Society was held in Hangzhou. COWAVE Communications was invited to attend this exchange meeting, and Dr. Lite, the deputy general manager, gave a report on the theme of "Application of Satellite Communications in the Petroleum Industry".

Due to the lack of communication infrastructure, IoT data cannot be transmitted through traditional optical fiber, 4G and other communication networks. Transmission of IoT data through satellites is the most cost-effective or even the only means.
