Our History

Since its establishment on June 1, 2017, Cowave has been continuously exploring and developing in the field of satellite communication and has achieved a series of significant development achievements.

2017

On Jun.1, Cowave Communication Technology Co., Ltd. was formally established in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province in China, and located in 9/F, B7, Qilin AI innovation Park, #266 Chuangyan RD., Jiangning Dist., Nanjing, P.R.China.

2018

Mar.6, Drove the BWP500A Portable Terminal to the market.

Jun.18, Blue-Whale Broadband Satellite Communication System was successfully developed and promoted to the market.

Sep.26, Participated in China International Information& Communication Exposition.

2019

Mar.20, Cooperated with China Satellite Communication Group Co., Ltd., jointly build and operate China's first professional SATCOM emergency service platform— EasySat Emergency Service Platform.

Apr. 16, Released the BWT300C Satellite Modem.

Jun.18, Participated in CommunicAsia in Singapore.

Oct. 30, Participated in the 2019 China Satellite Application Conference with a newly released product.

2020

Oct. 28, Participated in 21st. China Satellite Application Conference.

Dec. Undertook the Seminars on Large-scale Constellation Measurement& Operation Control System and network Management Technology, to discuss the key technologies of large-scale and low-orbit constellation systems under construction in China.

Dec. Set up the Branch Marketing Department in Beijing.

2021

May. Participate in The First Yangtze Delta International Emergency Expo.

Dec. Be certified as "Specialized, Dedicated, Special, and Creative” Small Giant Corporate of Jiangsu Province.

Dec. Cowave products were listed in the Core Promoted New Technology& New Products Category of Jiangsu Province.

2022

On Jan. 6, Cowave was approved to establish a postdoctoral innovation practice base in Jiangsu Province. Achieve high-level talent training, promote scientific and technological innovation and transform these achievements into physical outcomes.

On May. 11, Participated in the "Emergency Mission of 2022— Earthquake Relief Exercise". A disaster relief exercise for the alpine region kicked off in Zhangye, Gansu Province. Several emergency rescue forces equipped with BWP750A portable Satcom terminals participated in the exercise.

On May. 25, The advanced BWM300C Satellite Hub Station Terminal was released with better performance. With a size of only 4U can easily support up to 22 concurrent channels, which greatly reduces the space occupation and the construction cost for the SATCOM hub station.
